Itinerary
Day1: Marrakech - Atlas Mountains - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Valley
After having breakfast in your Riad/hotel in Marrakech, we will pick you up early at 07:30 am before heading to our today’s destination, which is the Dades Valley but we will explore the most interesting highlights on the way. Have a nice drive through the high-Atlas Mountains with its varied landscapes offering majestic views. We will cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m) before getting to the Kser (Village) of Ait Benhaddou.
You will have a guided walking tour around this unique masterpiece of architecture, which is listed by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site comprising of numerous Kasbahs (fortresses). Ait Benhaddou has a rich history going back to the 11th century playing a commercial role being in the formerly famous caravn that used to connect Marrakech with the Sahara and the Atlas Mountains.
We will continue our journey further south to the Dades Valley driving through the Valley of the Roses where we may want to include a short break learning about the local products made from the roses such as rose water, perfumes, soaps and much more.

Day2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorge - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert
Today, we will continue on the track to the majestic Merzouga desert visiting the impressive Todra Gorge (Canyon) that has been an attraction to mountain climbers and nature seekers. You may want to stretch your legs while enjoying the immense beauty of the canyons. After having lunch near Tinejdad, we will have a visit to the fossils’ factory in Erfoud offering an opportunity to learn how the region was covered by the sea millions of years ago. The fossilized creatured are being excavated in the region turning them into nice shapes.
Upon arrival in the Sahara desert of Erg Chebbi, you will go on a camel ride experience while enjoying the breathtaking views of the sunset before getting to our luxury desert camp where you will be received with warm welcome comprising of mint tea and pastries as a Moroccan ritual.
Enjoy a nice meal for dinner, then you may want to spend sometime gazing at the stars that illuminate the horizons before spend your second night in our en-suite luxury desert camp.

Day3: Merzouga Desert - Alnif - Nkob - Ouarzazate
Today, you will wake up in the early morning as the activity consists of climbing up the sand dune and attending the majestic view of the sunrise. You will, then, be invited to have a refreshing breakfast under the sunlight, then a refreshing shower before getting ready for today’s exploration.
We will head to Ouarzazate through the spectacular Anti-Atlas Mountains with its unique geological formations. Have lunch in the charming center of Nkob with its plam valley and countless Kasbahs before getting to Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa) where we will spend our third night.

Day4: Ouarzazate - Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
After having breakfast in your hotel/Riad in Ouarzazate, we will drive back to Marrakech while including a visit to the Atlas Film Studios, which have turned the region into an international backdrop for film-making such as Gladiator, Cleopatra, Lawrence of Arabia, Kingdom of Heaven, Prince of Persia and much more.
We will then drive through the spectacular high-Atlas Mountains before reaching Marrakech in the evening marking the end of our 4-days Marrakech desert tour.

Please note that the process of dropping you off in your accommodation in the old Medinas of Marrakech, Fes, Tangier, Rabat, Essaouira…can be in some cases inapplication because of inaccessibilty to the car.
